JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, is reportedly “keeping an open mind” on her husband’s 2028 Presidential future. Previously, Vance expressed his desire to run for President in 2028, although he has not officially announced his candidacy.

JD Vance’s wife Usha said this about the Vice President’s potential presidential run in 2028

JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, revealed she will let her husband decide regarding a potential presidential run in 2028. In an interview with Fox News’ Fox and Friends she confessed she is keeping an “open mind and open heart.” The Second Lady addressed the Presidential talks and revealed that she would support whatever her husband chooses to do. Usha said: “Whatever it is that he feels is the right thing for him to do, we’re going to have a good time doing it. We will make the best of it in the best possible way.”

The Second Lady emphasized to the host that the family is taking “one step at a time” and channeling their focus on November’s mid-term elections. Usha explained: “Right now, that step is he’s really focused on the midterms. And for me, it’s being focused on the things that I get to do during this four-year period…”

Pivoting to a more personal topic of discussion, their family, Usha explained how they are navigating this change in their lives. The Second Lady commented: “I’ve seen us adapt to all sorts of things and all sorts of changes.”

In a moment of candid confession, Usha also revealed the one piece of advice she has given to her husband: stay away from social media. The 40-year-old explained that it was “so exhausting” to deal with the “constant flow of stuff.” JD ultimately followed her advice, which Usha said helped him gain perspective. “I personally think it helped him have some perspective about various things that he was thinking about,” she added.
