AJ Pritchard and girlfriend Zara Zoffany have become involved in DWTS: The Next Pro Dispute. Zara fired back after Rylee Arnold’s approach during rehearsals. She also made a startling allegation about an injury. Zara claimed Rylee left AJ with a “slight concussion.”
Zara Zoffany accused Rylee Arnold of leaving AJ Pritchard with a “slight concussion” during DWTS: The Next Pro rehearsals.
The drama reportedly began after Rylee discussed working with AJ. The pair partnered for a semifinal challenge on DWTS: The Next Pro. Rylee described AJ as an intense and demanding partner. She claimed his criticism became difficult during their rehearsals.
“At the beginning I felt that lightheartedness,” Rylee said. However, she added that AJ was “kind of intense.” Rylee also questioned whether AJ could offer enough encouragement. “I don’t know if he’s going to be able to give affirmation to somebody,” she said.
“It was just constant critique,” Rylee added. “Under pressure, he cracks.” Zara quickly came to AJ’s defense online. She argued that his criticism had been justified and constructive.
“AJ wouldn’t have had to critique you in the first place if everything had been right,” Zara wrote. She also compared his performance with another dance challenge. However, Zara then made a more serious allegation about rehearsals. She claimed Rylee accidentally injured AJ during their partnership.
“What people didn’t see in rehearsals was that you injured him,” Zara wrote. She alleged Rylee hit AJ in the head and claimed the incident left him with “a slight concussion.” She also said AJ needed to see a physio afterward.
She defended his teaching and feedback. Zara insisted AJ’s criticism had “always been constructive.” The couple’s public defense has now added another layer to the competition drama. AJ is competing for the chance to become a DWTS professional.
Meanwhile, Rylee has remained part of the Dancing With the Stars world for years. She previously appeared on DWTS: Juniors before continuing her dance career.
Neither AJ nor Rylee’s response was included in the report regarding Zara’s concussion allegation. For now, the dispute appears centered on competing versions of what happened during rehearsals.
