After announcing Kanye Westâs latest album, âWW3,â DJ Akademiks shared screenshots of alleged texts with the rapper joking about Kim Kardashianâs sex tape âpart 2.â Akademiks posted the said screenshot in a recent Instagram thread that showed glimpses of their conversations. In the messages, the duo addressed the Grammys and how they didnât give West, who now goes by Ye, a ticket. He then reportedly wrote about nearly tweeting the joke about joining Kardashian and Ray J for a second part of their infamous sex tape.
Kanye West allegedly texted DJ Akademiks about one of his tweets on Kim Kardashian

Amid Kanye West and Kim Kardashianâs recent row, DJ Akademiks posted an alleged screenshot of his text with the rapper, who crudely joked about his ex-wifeâs sex tape. In the message, West discussed his planned tweet for Kardashian in direct reference to her infamous 2009 sex tape with Ray J. The alleged message read, âOne of the tweets⌠Me and Ray J need to hit Kim from both sides for that Superstar home video part 2.â It continued, âOnly question is, whoâs gonna hit it first?â
Responding to this, Akademiks, who also goes by Lil AK, called West âhilarious,â and the latter replied with multiple crying emojis. The podcaster then texted the 47-year-old musician, praising his humor, âNo way u had this sense of humor all along u must have hit the âI donât give a fâkâ button at some point to even joke.â Following this, the screenshot appeared cropped as the duo proceeded to address other controversial subjects such as the Grammys, Drake, J Cole, and Jay-Z, among others.
Moreover, the latter part of Kanye Westâs disturbing joke about Kim Kardashianâs sex tape was a clear reference to Ray Jâs track, âI Hit It First,â as per Page Six. He released the song in 2013, a year after Kardashian and West began dating. Last year, Ray appeared on the âClub Shay Shayâ podcast and reportedly addressed the subject, claiming âeverything would be different nowâ if he hadnât done the tape with the reality star. He also noted that OnlyFans wouldnât exist if it wasnât for the tape and revealed that he was embarrassed when it came out.
