Beyonce kicked off her much-awaited Cowboy Carter Tour on April 28, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The opening night was special in more ways than one, primarily because the singer had her kids by her side. During the nearly three-hour show, the Grammy winner performed several songs from her 2024 country album. However, the highlight of the show was when her elder daughter, Blue Ivy, 13, and younger daughter Rumi, 7, joined her on stage.

Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter Tour kicked things off in a manner as grand as possible. What made the event even more memorable is her girls, Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter, joining her on stage for striking showcases. The former was a regular appearance during the three-hour concert, dancing alongside her mother for an iconic performance of “America Has a Problem.”
Blue Ivy later reappeared on stage, this time around without Beyonce, for a solo performance of the pop icon’s hit “Déjà Vu.” Dressed in a brown leather cowboy ensemble, she made a showstopping entrance, flaunting her best model walk to the audience’s loudest cheers. The teenager strutted down to the center of the stage before leading the dancers to the gripping original live performance choreography. Not only did she nail the dance break effortlessly, but her solo showcase also made for one of the concert’s most viral moments.
Meanwhile, Beyonce’s younger daughter Rumi also made her rare appearance on the Cowboy Carter Tour. The seven-year-old, who appears on her mom’s album track “Protector,” made her concert debut much to fans’ surprise. She joined her mother and sister, Blue Ivy, on stage for the song in a bedazzled gold feather dress with matching cowboy boots. She waved at the crowd, showcasing her excitement, and even made the protector pose with her hands.
Videos from the concert also captured an adorable moment when Rumi gave Beyonce a big hug at the end of the song, leaving the latter overwhelmed with emotion. Beyonce also ensured to include Rumi’s twin brother Sir virtually at the concert.
Beyonce is scheduled to perform a few more shows at the SoFi Stadium before moving on with her Cowboy Carter Tour to Chicago, East Rutherford, London, Paris, and more.
