Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami is finally in our sights. And this season looks even spicier than last season! Once again, Alexia Nepola, Julia Lemigova, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, and Guerdy Abraira are holding mojitos. They will be joined by newbie Stephanie Shojaee.
Plus, Adriana de Moura, Kiki Barth, and Marysol Patton are again in the mix as friends of the housewives. Fan favorite Dr. Nicole Martin exited after last season, but we haven’t seen the last of her.
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Trailer
This trailer brings the heat, and it is packed with drama. We will see the ladies practice the Flamenco in Seville, Spain, as well as hit up Milan, Italy, and Marbella. Several friendships crumble this season, which causes an interesting dynamic among the cast.
The relationships among the ladies is one of RHOM’s strong points, so this could get interesting. Plus, two of the ladies ended up in Splitsville, which just pumped up the mess.
Alexia Nepola and Larsa Pippen weather break-ups in Season 7 of RHOM
When the trailer starts, there is a flashback to Larsa and her boyfriend Marcus Jordan in happier times. Flash forward, and Larsa told Alexia, “He was sending really threatening text messages at the end.” Thankfully, Larsa is moving on.
Meanwhile, Alexia also had a flashback moment with her husband, Todd Nepola. “I got home, Todd’s gone,” Alexia tearfully told her group of gal pals. “I don’t even want to be happy anymore.” So, the ladies enveloped Alexia in a group hug, with bestie Marysol urging, “Pile in, hookers.”
News broke after Season 6 of RHOM wrapped that Todd had filed for divorce. That was … a shock. However, Marysol allegedly had her doubts about how healthy Alexia and Todd’s relationship was. “The Alexia with Todd is not a good Alexia,” she told her new husband, Steve McNamara. When a producer asked Marysol what could help her bestie “get over Todd,” you know Marysol brought the goods. “New D,” she replied with a giggle.
I’m sure fans will get answers as to why Todd left Alexia, as right now it seems a bit murky. Hopefully, we will see Alexia handle this shocking situation and still carve out a bit of time to have fun. After all, that’s what this franchise is all about!
Dr. Nicole Martin makes an appearance in Season 7 of RHOM
I will admit that I love Nicole, so I was sad that she decided not to return. However, her family trumps her side hustle, so I get it. After welcoming her daughter, Genevieve Nicole Lopez, with her fiancé, Anthony Lopez, she suffered from postpartum anxiety. That fueled her decision to walk away.
So, it was a treat to see Nicole in the Season 7 RHOM trailer. She sat down to lunch with some of her former co-stars. “I’m excited to meet Stephanie,” the anesthesiologist said. “Out of all the people that could have joined the group, the fact that she actually dated Anthony. There have to be some similarities if the same man liked us both,” Nicole added. May I add that Guerdy’s facial expression was priceless.
“She’s petite. You petite. She got a plane. You got a plane,” Guerdy replied. Welp, the decision to cast Anthony’s ex as a new housewife is interesting. While Nicole is no longer part of the cast, will her besties, like Guerdy, take to Stephanie? Or will the newbie get the cold shoulder in sunny Miami? I wonder if Stephanie will come in hot to try and make her mark? It’s a mistake that many new housewives make, so we shall see.
Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova clash
It looks like Season 7 of RHOM is going to be tough on some of our favorite friendships. The friendship between Julia and Guerdy seems like it may be done for good. “What about you and Guerdy?” Alexia asked Julia. Heartbreakingly, Julia responded, “She’s not my safe space anymore.”
Then the trailer jumped to a group gathering, where Guerdy slammed Julia. “You’re a snake,” she exclaimed. “A nasty snake!” Julia shouted, “You’re a liar!” This feud looks vicious.
Then we have Alexia, who is all about putting the newbies in their place, which is lower in status than her place. During a cast dinner, Alexia clashed with Stephanie. “Who do you think you are?” Alexia asked Stephanie, who was seated across from the table.
“Stephanie Shojaee,” the newbie coolly responded. Something tells me that the newest mojito-holder doesn’t get easily intimidated.
“Big sh*t. I’m Alexia Nepola,” the longtime cast member said. Out of nowhere, Stephanie pounded her chest like Tarzan. “I’m ALEXIA!” Stephanie bellowed.
Meanwhile, Larsa also argued with Marysol. “Shut your face,” Larsa told Marysol. In Spanish, Marysol fired back, “Shut your mouth. I’ve had it up to here!” Yikes!
Well, with romantic break-ups, friendship fall-outs, and crazy girls’ trips, it looks like Season 7 of RHOM has something for everyone.
