Season 2 of The Valley is showcasing the messy split between Michelle Saniei and Jesse Lally. And let’s just admit this is one of Bravo’s messiest divorces yet. Both are playing dirty, but Jesse is currently taking the cake. The realtor is doing everything he can to get a reaction out of the mother of one. And Michelle is at her wits’ end. Now she is opening up more about her marriage mistakes, which are leaving fans to wonder if Jesse was right about it all.

Honestly, at this rate, what didn’t Jesse accuse his wife of doing? But the father of one’s anger stems from the theory that Michelle stepped out on him. During the latest episode, he broke down his hypothesis for Kristen Doute over tea. Jesse shared with his friend, “I don’t actually know what’s going on with Michelle. She’s most likely with her boyfriend for the last two years.” Michelle went public with Aaron Nosler just months after the couple separated. But Jesse is convinced there is more to the story. “Nothing about Aaron and Michelle adds up. I think there was a situation that happened with the two of them while I was married,” Jesse shares. “She swears up and down that Aaron had said that he would never date a married woman or never date a woman with a kid.”
Jesse laid out a timeline telling Kristen, “There was a time Michelle got all done up one day, and she started to do these hikes in the morning — these walks to Runyon.” Even Kristen seemed suspicious, adding, “In LA, in the summer, at the top of that skinny mountain? You’re not wearing a drop of makeup.” Jesse then shared, “And I’d be like, ‘Why aren’t you wearing your wedding ring?’ She’s like, ‘Well, the diamond, I don’t feel super safe walking the streets.’”

Michelle has, for the most part, stayed quiet amid Jesse’s accusations. But she did recently spill some tea while on Watch What Happens Live. The realtor cleared the air as she stated unequivocally, “I did not have a boyfriend whatsoever. At the end of my marriage, there was something that happened, and I made a mistake.” She went on to add, “I was very clear and I told Jesse, and I was very honest, so he knows the truth.” It seems by all accounts the marriage was shaky for years.
Michelle also wanted to shut down the upsetting rumors that Jesse had started in the boys’ group chat. She denied ever cheating on him with Aaron and noted that she has never slept with a billionaire for money. In the not-so-secret boys’ chat, Jesse alleged that Michelle had been paid $1,500 a night to sleep with a rich man, insinuating she was a high-end escort. For her part, Michelle has yet to really deal back any personal blows to Jesse. It seems her form of punishment is showing how quickly she was able to move on and live a happier life.

In May 2024, Michelle opened up to Decider about her marriage. She noted, “I never actually expected us to divorce. I just thought we had hit a really low point in our marriage.” At the time, she added, “When I went into filming, my intention was to work on the marriage. However, it was our first session with the life coach that helped open my eyes to what was the best decision for me and my daughter.” No one can argue that Jesse and Michelle’s divorce is the storyline of the season. Their bickering and pettiness have taken center stage and even surpassed Jax Taylor’s entering rehab. Each week, Jesse has a new theory on who Michelle possibly cheated on him. The latest revolved around Aaron’s honey company. He told cameras, “There’s just too many things. You know, like his honey company that’s been in my cabinet for two years.”
Jesse was as serious as a heart attack as he added, “And when I got his Instagram on New Year’s Day, I click on his profile, and I click on that honey company, and I’m like, ‘The motherf*cking honey. I remember going to Whole Foods, and I’d say [to Michelle], ‘I can’t find the honey.’ She goes, ‘I get it at a place near Runyon.’” The split is only going to get messier, but it might mean Michelle will reveal even more about her mistake.
