Luke Broderick’s comments on The Valley continued to raise eyebrows. Fans have watched Luke and his fiancée, Kristen Doute, adjust to being first-time parents. And this new dynamic has thrown their relationship into chaos. As a result, the duo started couples’ therapy to try and repair their relationship.
Luke Broderick wants Kristen Doute to get pregnant again so it is “out of the way”
Earlier this season, Luke experienced a wave of backlash for repeatedly pushing Kristen to have sex months after she gave birth to their daughter, Kaia. Then, he told Jesse Lally that if his relationship with Kristen didn’t improve, there wouldn’t be a wedding.
In a recent episode, Kristen and Luke attended their first couple’s therapy meeting. It was certainly an eye-opening experience. “When you got down on one knee in the most beautiful way,” Kristen said, “and proposed to me before we got pregnant with our daughter, none of that was of topic.” Luke replied, “And pregnant Kristen’s someone I hadn’t met yet.” Not only was Kristen shocked, but the therapist stated, “That is a really painful thing to say.”
During The Valley Season 3 Episode 18, Luke and Kristen discussed the therapy appointment. “I feel like my jaw hit the floor, but I also wasn’t, like, sad about it,” Kristen said, referring to Luke’s nasty comment. “I feel like I don’t know why you’d want me to get pregnant again if you hate my pregnant self,” she added.
“Get it out of the way so we can be done with that … so we can put the pregnant Kristen to rest. Lock her up in a coffin. Get our second baby and …,” Luke remarked.
“Luke Ryan!” Kristen exclaimed. “I’m never having sex with you ever again! Don’t say things like that.” Her fiancé replied, “Let’s get it done so we can, like, have the rest of our happy life,” he said. WOW.
