Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has been on quite the romance rollercoaster over the past few years. Right now, she is reportedly in the wedding planning stage with professional basketball player Jeff Coby. Before this, she had an on-and-off relationship with Marcus Jordan, and also had that chaotic fling with Tristan Thompson, which broke her friendship with the Kardashians for good.
Another well-known man from her dating history is Malik Beasley. Larsa dated the Detroit Pistons player (she loves an athlete) back in 2020. The reason why it became so controversial? Well, he just so happened to be married at the time. Now that it’s been almost five years since their whirlwind relationship, she’s speaking out about the experience.
Larsa Pippen blames “COVID brain” for dating Malik Beasley
Larsa was a recent quest on The Jason Lee Show. It was during the segment that she made quite the revelation regarding her past relationship with Malik.
“That was a mistake. That was a mistake. But I had COVID, you know? I had COVID brain,” she vented in the May 11 episode.
The reality TV star did claim, though, that the NBA player was the one who initiated their brief romance.
“He was, like, on me, you know? Like, ‘Lemme see you! Lemme come see you. Lemme come see you.’ And I thought, ‘OK, come see me!’”
Malik’s wife at the time, Montana Yao, filed for divorce after seeing public pictures of him and Larsa out together. After he and the RHOM star broke up, though, Montana and Malik were able to get past their differences and restore their relationship. However, soon after welcoming their second child together, Montana filed for divorce a second time in March 2025. Guess Larsa can’t be charged as the homewrecker for this couple after all.
