Sister Wives star Christine Brown is living her best life since she leaving her ex-husband, Kody Brown.
While once she shared Kody with three other wives, she now basks in the attention of her new husband, David Woolley. No longer does she have to bend her own needs to Kody’s. Best of all, she doesn’t have to share her partner with sister wives Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown. Christine happily admits she was “made for monogamy.”

Since she left the polygamous lifestyle, Christine sees her dysfunctional relationship with Kody more clearly. “I didn’t realize – such a weird and embarrassing thing to admit – but my life was just wrapped up in what Kody needed and what he wanted,” Christine revealed to ET. “I was probably more fixated on that man than [I ever realized].”
When Christine was asked to elaborate, she continued. “Even when he wasn’t there,” she added, “I’d be thinking, ‘Whenever he gets here, we’re gonna do this and this and this.’ Cause he didn’t just insert into my life, he didn’t just do whatever we were doing. We had to change what we were doing to accommodate him.”
Now the mom of six children sees, “That’s not okay … That’s making it so our lives were focused on him.” Looking back now, she’s “embarrassed” and “frustrated” that she lived that way for so many years.
Christine was asked, “Do you feel that he didn’t respect you?”
“I don’t know if he would feel like he would need to,” Christine responded. “Maybe in some roles, maybe in some ways he did.”
