Jennifer Lopez celebrates ‘being free and being happy’ this summer
Jennifer Lopez is ready to take the stage for her upcoming back-to-back gigs and shared her excitement during a recent interview. Ahead of hosting the 2025 American Music Awards on May 26, the 55-year-old actor got candid while talking to PEOPLE. Lopez was ecstatic as she told the outlet about her busy summer plans. The popstar shared she is “super excited” about headlining WorldPride in Washington, D.C., during June’s Pride Month.
Lopez said, “I’m working on that show right now too as we speak, and crafting the tour as well.” She also revealed to PEOPLE that her 17-year-old twins, Emme and Max, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, may also turn up at one of her gigs. The actor said, “I think my kids are going to come to Pride because I’m doing more of a concert [at WorldPride].” Lopez shared her excitement for getting to spend some time with her children and added, “They’re sweet. They’re the best.”
In addition to her WorldPride gig, Lopez is also gearing up to hit the road for her “Up All Night: Live in 2025” tour. This will be the singer’s first tour in six years. During the interview, Lopez also told PEOPLE she’s “excited to get back out there.” She said, “It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy.” At one point, Lopez also got candid about her outlook on life lately.
The actor said, “Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good.” Lopez continued to share that she’s “ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time.” She then added, “That’s always my goal.”
