A moment that happened years ago on The Bachelor is causing a little bit of a stir thanks to Nick Viall. During a recent episode of his podcast, The Viall Files, he recalled a moment when Jasmine Goode pretended to choke him. She was teasing him for not getting a one-on-one date.
According to Nick, the moment with The Valley star made him feel “uncomfortable.” Jasmine, on the other hand, thinks he’s using her name for “clout.” We’ll let you be the judge.

Nick reflected on his time with Jasmine during a May 29 episode of his podcast. He was joined by Janet Caperna, and they were talking about all of the drama unfolding between Jasmine and Danny Booko. It led Nick to recall his experience with Jasmine “strangling” him on The Bachelor.
“’I would love an apology from Jasmine,” Nick teased. “I’m still triggered.”
He added, “’All the jokes aside [on] the Jasmine strangling me thing … that did make me uncomfortable. There was a blackout moment.”
Daily Mail decided to reach out to Jasmine to ask her about Nick’s comments on The Viall Files. She didn’t hold back.
“Nick is a clout chaser,” Jasmine said. “He wants attention because I actually did his podcast when he first started out, and we joked about it. He laughed about it.”
“Number two, I did not actually touch him. It was gesturing,” she continued. “And number three, when you’re in that situation, I was a sister wife, this is my man, you’re dating, this is your boyfriend.”
Although Jasmine insisted she was joking with Nick when she choked him, she also added that it’s on-brand for her to do that to someone. She said she’s from New Jersey, so that’s just how she expresses herself!
“’I’m sorry, I’m from Jersey,” Jasmine continued. “If I’m upset with you, like, yes, I want to choke you right now. That’s how we handle things.”
The rant continued, with Jasmine adding, “So, for Nick to act like, ‘Oh, Jasmine,’ please. Really, Nick? Get something else. I know you want attention, but this is so Nick coded.”
