Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour’s ‘Next Gen NYC’ Connection Takes a Turn

Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour are keeping their distance, a co-star says. Shai Fruchter says a lot has happened since Next Gen NYC stopped filming.

A castmate recently shared an update on the pair during a podcast appearance. His comments suggest things remain complicated between them. The rest of the season will show viewers how they reached this point.

Shai Fruchter reveals where Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour stand after their reported hookup

Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour have put some distance between themselves since their reported hookup, according to a co-star.

Shai Fruchter discussed the pair on Page Six‘s “Virtual Reali-Tea” in an exclusive interview. The Next Gen NYC star, 25, told co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real, “A lot has happened on the rest of the season [and] since filming.”

He described the aftermath as difficult to follow. “So much has happened that, one, it’s hard to keep track of, and two, it’s just so many mixed emotions coming in at once that when it’s that overwhelming, and [there’s] that much confusion, you kind of have to keep it a little cordial and separate for a bit,” Fruchter said.

An inside source had already confirmed the reported Ariana Biermann hookup to Page Six. Biermann, 24, and Zakkour, 31, got together while cameras rolled on the show’s second season. “It did happen and the situation will play out in the second half of the season,” the insider added.

Zakkour’s interest in Biermann goes back further. He showed interest during the debut season, when she was still with Hudson McLeroy. She and McLeroy, 24, had an on-and-off relationship spanning nearly 10 years before ending it in October 2025. They reunited earlier this year, but Biermann recently confirmed they had broken up again.

She had spoken differently about Zakkour before. At BravoCon 2025, she said she would not touch him with a “10-foot pole.” By the end of that weekend, she had traded her first-class ticket for a seat in economy beside the crypto trader.

Meanwhile, Zakkour was not the only person pursuing Biermann after her breakup with McLeroy, and her dating life expanded during Season 2. Liam Obergfoll, a newcomer to the series, took her on several dates while filming and introduced her to his family.

With Zakkour and McLeroy seemingly out of the picture, Obergfoll recently shared his own update. He told Page Six, “We’re talking. We’re just talking. [We’re] having fun, but keeping it casual.”

“Next Gen NYC” airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, and new episodes stream the following day on Peacock.
