Justin Baldoni is reportedly not happy with his legal team handling his lawsuit against “It Ends with Us” co-star Blake Lively. The actor is reportedly furious with his star attorney, Bryan Freedman. This comes after the latter missed the deadline to refile key claims for his $400 million lawsuit.
Although Baldoni had until Monday, June 23, to amend his claims, Freedman said Baldoni won’t amend the lawsuit as he is looking at other legal options. “Instead of revising the existing claims, our clients will be pursuing additional legal options that are available to us,” Freedman said in a statement shared with People.
Following the statement, Lively’s rep said that the “Court dismissed the frivolous $400 million Baldoni-Wayfarer lawsuit in its entirety.” However, the actor’s lawyers believe their case dismissal was not an issue “as they promised to amend and refile it.” However, as per the representative, “As per usual, that was not true.” They further added, “The Court’s dismissal of Baldoni’s sham lawsuit was a total victory after all.” Her rep even told Rob Shuter, “That ‘refile’ threat? All bark, no bite.”
As per the source, Baldoni is now furious and considering a legal shakeup to adequately represent him in court. The actor further wants to prevent the 37-year-old star from gaining a public relations advantage.
