Prince Harry & King Charles’ Aides Meeting Means Nothing Without Prince William’s Presence, Says ‘Source’

Prince Harry and King Charles‘ rift was rumored to end soon. The senior aides of the two royals reportedly met for a quiet meeting in London last week. It allegedly took place at the private members’ club — the Royal Over-Seas League — and was seen as a healthy approach towards reconciliation. However, as per a source, Prince Harry and King Charles’s aides’ meeting doesn’t hold much importance without Prince William.

The rumored aides meeting means ‘very little’ without Prince William around, says ‘source’

According to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, Prince Harry and King Charles’s aides’ meeting carries little weight without Prince William. Insiders told the news outlet that the informal meeting did not have any effect on the royal rift.

Additionally, a senior palace source stated, “This whole summit means very little without Prince William at the table.” They further suggested that the communication between the brothers is important for a proper reunion. An insider also mentioned that the absence of Prince William was largely felt at the meeting. “This wasn’t progress — it was PR. The real wound is between Harry and William.”

For the unaware, Prince Harry had accused the Prince of Wales of physical violence in his memoir, “Spare.” #ShuterScoop’s source shared how “William felt blindsided, exposed, and humiliated” by his younger brother’s claims in the memoir. “He’s still furious — and he’s not ready to forgive,” they concluded.

Talking more about the meeting, it was reportedly held between Meredith Maines and Tobyn Andreae. Maines is Prince Harry’s chief of staff and communications director, while Andrea is the King’s communications secretary. Additionally, Liam Maguire, who handles the press meet for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, was present at the meeting.

A source told Daily Mail, “There’s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years. They continued, “There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.” Moreover, an insider called it the “first step towards reconciliation between Harry and his father, but at least it is a step in the right direction.”
