Big Brother 27 is in full swing. The houseguests have moved past pleasantries and are now in full-on game mode. Twists are active, powers are unlocked, and alliances have been formed. It’s still early on, but a few houseguests have piqued the interest of fans, whether it be because they won a challenge or impressed fans with their strategic gameplay.

Let’s dive into the current Big Brother 27 frontrunners.

Who will win Big Brother 27 (BB27)?

Winning Big Brother is not an easy feat. To take home the $750,000 grand prize, a player must carefully maneuver the social dynamics in the house. It’s a tricky balance. You want to gain the respect of your fellow players, but you don’t want to become a threat and risk eviction. There are a few BB27 players that I believe already squandered their chance at victory. Kelley, girl, stop volunteering yourself for the block. PAWNS GO HOME! Have we learned nothing from 27 seasons of this show? And Keanu, the house isn’t loving your vibe, so revise your strategy or you’ll be shaking hands with Chenbot soon. Conversely, there is a group of players that performed well in Week 1 and Week 2. Let’s take a look…

Morgan Pope

Morgan Pope is in a good spot. She’s well-liked in the house, which has bought her an invitation to the most prominent alliances. She’s protected by many players in the game, including the current HOH. Her current position makes it unlikely she’ll touch the block anytime soon.

She is also close with Mickey Lee, who is currently in possession of a game-changing power. Mickey has the power to overthrow an HOH’s reign, but it comes with a major risk. If she chooses to activate the power, the current HOH will have the opportunity to guess who staged the takeover. If they guess correctly, Mickey will be exposed and in danger of being nominated. Morgan has the luxury of knowing about the power, and being close to the person who possesses it, but she doesn’t have the responsibility of using the power. She can benefit from its use in the game without getting blood on her hands.

Morgan is in that sweet spot where people recognize she’s a worthy ally, but no one sees her as a major threat. She may find herself in those final two chairs if she plays her cards right.

Mickey Lee

Mickey’s power has the ability to tank her game if used incorrectly, but it could also work in her favor. It’s always great to have an advantage in the Big Brother house, even one that includes a risk element. Mickey, like Morgan, is well-positioned and well-liked. She appears to be a natural game player who knows how to navigate the house. She and Morgan may be the leading duo in the house.

Vince Panaro

Historically, players who find themselves in the HOH bedroom in Week 1 seldom find long-term success in Big Brother. It gives a player the luxury of safety for the first few days, but once they are out of office, they become easy bait for the next HOH. Vince Panaro, however, may break the first HOH curse. He managed to leave office with a relatively high approval rate. A rare case for a first HOH. He used his time in power wisely, forming a staggering number of alliances in Week 1. That may come back to bite him, but then again, maybe not.

Zach Cornell

Zach Cornell is playing a solid game so far. The former baseball player has many allies, who are genuinely invested in keeping him in the game. He seems to have a solid strategic plan, and has navigated the house quite seamlessly. He is currently in possession of a power, which may make him a target if he doesn’t utilize it correctly. But for now, he’s sitting pretty in the Big Brother house. He certainly moves more carefully than most of the players in the game. I believe he has what it makes to take home the $750,000.

Big Brother is available to stream on Paramount+.
