Real Housewives of Miami stars Julia Lemigova and Guerdy Abraira used to be close friends. But they’ve had their share of ups and downs in RHOM Season 7. Things are likely to get even more rocky between now and the end of the season.
As the reunion fast approaches, Julia imagined what she might say to her on-again/off-again friend. “I would just ask her, ‘Guerdy, what do you want? What is your goal? What do you want?’” Julia told Us Weekly.
“There is so much more, and I wish I could say more,” she teased. “But honestly, stay tuned and then make your own decision. I don’t hold grudges. I don’t have any animosity.” Okay …
Julia Lemigova says Real Housewives of Miami viewers have seen a “small part” of her Guerdy Abraira conflict
In an interview with Us Weekly, Julia hinted that things between her and Guerdy could get worse as the season goes on. She warned fans to “stay tuned” as they have only seen a “small part” of the story so far.
It all started when Julia’s wife, tennis champion Martina Navratilova had a medical emergency and was unable to attend a cruise. Consequently, Julia invited her good friend Guerdy to fill in as a last-minute replacement. Everything was great until Guerdy was uninvited from an on board dinner, her seat filled by another celebrity. Naturally, Guerdy’s feelings were hurt when she had to eat dinner alone. Sadly, the cruise took place in between seasons, so we only have Julia and Guerdy’s stories to rely on.
Subsequently, Guerdy couldn’t let it go. But the fight escalated when Julia angrily threw a glass of water on Guerdy at a group event. Even though she’s since apologized and expressed remorse, the bad feelings remain.
Meanwhile, during Guerdy’s Celebration of Life event, Guerdy took it up a notch when she blasted emails between herself and Julia on a giant screen for everybody to see. Though I actually see Guerdy’s point, that was a step too far.
“I hope Guerdy can put it behind us,” Julia said. “I’m not the person who holds grudges. Life is moving on. I forgive, I forget, I love my friends. We did have a beautiful friendship once.”
In addition, Julia has also fallen out with her longtime bestie Adriana de Moura. Though Julia denies that it’s because she has gotten closer to Adriana’s frenemies Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola, I’m not buying it.
“I’m still a little bit confused why things went about the way they did,” Julia explained. “Again, it’s a reunion situation, and I’m sure she will have a lot to say. But you will see as the episodes grow … We have a lot more Miami to live.”
The Real Housewives of Miami airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
