Why Brooklyn Beckham Is ‘Devastated’ About Wife Nicola Peltz Drama

Insiders are saying that Brooklyn Beckham‘s “heart breaks” over the way his wife is being painted in the press. Insisting that his wife isn’t holding him hostage, Brooklyn thinks Nicola Peltz is being unfairly villainized.

“It’s so rooted in misogyny that all of the heat for his parents not being invited is on Nicola.” a source shared. “Everyone seems to forget that Brooklyn is an adult man and fully capable of speaking out. Nicola would have respected all that he chose. It breaks Brooklyn’s heart to see his wife being painted as this vixen and viper.”

Brooklyn’s American wife is being blamed for isolating her husband from his family and friends.

Nicola Peltz is being “painted as a viper” according to a source, leaving Brooklyn Beckham miserable

The problem is that somebody forgot to invite the groom’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, to the vow renewal. Not only were his extended family members absent from the August 2 celebration, but so were his UK friends.

“Why is it assumed that she made the decision to exclude [Brooklyn’s parents]?” the person commented. “If he really wanted his parents there, they would be.”

According to The Mirror, David and Victoria had no idea there even was a vow renewal taking place until they saw it online. In addition, friends are saying Brooklyn’s younger siblings, Romeo and Cruz, weren’t invited due to their repeated online jabs.

“Brooklyn’s brothers have been fanning the flames,” an insider said. “They’ve openly made fun of and trolled Brooklyn in comments on social media.”

Meanwhile, the elder Beckhams haven’t seen their son or his wife in some time. Sadly, Brooklyn and Nicola took a pass on his dad’s 50th birthday party in May. That’s just not cool.

The entire Beckham family – including younger sister Harper, who is closed to Brooklyn – were excluded from the vow renewal. “Why punish the whole family for what is essentially a fallout with just the mum and dad?” another insider wondered.

“They are trying to make the best decisions … in what are very unfortunate circumstances,” a source advised. “Navigating family stuff is hard, and it’s ugly.”

Still, Brooklyn holds out hope for a reconciliation with his family. “The door is open,” the source added. “There is always hope. At the end of the day, blood is thicker than water.”
