Full House star John Stamos recently celebrated his 62nd birthday by sharing a shirtless picture on his social media handle. The seasoned actor took to Instagram to give his followers a glimpse at his jacked physique, drawing praise from celebrities and his admirers in the process.

On August 19, John Stamos posted a shirtless picture of himself taking a rooftop shower on Instagram to commemorate his 62nd birthday. In the image, the General Hospital alum indulges in an outdoor bath, wearing nothing but a pair of Calvin Klein underwear.
Stamos also included a celebratory caption for the occasion, writing, “A rooftop birthday shower in NYC to start the day, and the love of family and friends to carry me through. At 62, I’ve learned the best things in life can’t be washed away…laughter, love, and gratitude. Thank you for every wish and every year.” Alluding to his soaked semi-clad photo, the Primetime Emmy-nominated artist playfully concluded his message by saying, “I don’t take a single drop for granted.”
The shirtless post from Stamos has since garnered several flattering responses from fans as well as fellow industry veterans. In the comment section, singer Richard Marx lauded the former Beach Boys member’s stunning look while also wishing him on his birthday.
“Look at you up there making folks thirsty! Happy birthday bro,” Marx noted. Stamos also got a wish from Candace Cameron Bure, who played the role of his niece in Full House and Fuller House, with the 49-year-old actress writing, “Happy birthday uncle J.”
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Stamos shed light on how he has managed to maintain such a balanced physique, despite his age. “I wash my face. I work out three or four times a week,” he noted, before emphasizing the importance of “good sleep.” Stamos also revealed that he had given up “drinking 10 years ago.”
