Love Island USA Season 6 finalists JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez are no longer an item. The two sparked breakup rumors in late July 2025 when fans noticed JaNa unfollowed Kenny on Instagram. Internet sleuths also noticed a few of JaNa’s Villa besties, including Serena Page, Leah Kateb, and Kaylor Martin, also unfollowed Kenny, creating more suspicion.
JaNa addressed the rumor on July 29 via Instagram. The former islander posted a statement to her story, letting fans know she and Kenny were over. Since then, JaNa has revealed quite a bit about the sudden split. If you need to be brought up to speed, don’t worry, we have you covered.

What did JaNa Craig’s People interview reveal?
In her Instagram statement, JaNa revealed that the breakup was caused by Kenny’s “disgusting” actions.
“Kenny and I [are] no longer together,” she began. “Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is. Discovering that someone you loved isn’t who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn’t been genuine since day one has been truly devastating.”
At the time, JaNa did not reveal what transpired before the breakup, but fans put it together pretty quickly. JaNa’s best friend released a statement shortly after the news broke, providing more insight on the situation.
“My advice for women in relationships,” she wrote. “If you have access-go [through] your man’s phone TODAY. Search keywords like, ‘I don’t like black women, I’m faking this relationship, I thought I would get more money from this, I’m faking this relationship, going on the show would be for clout, I can’t wait to be done [with] this so I can f*ck hella b*tches.”
Several of JaNa’s Love Island USA co-stars also released statements, calling Kenny “money-hungry” and “racist.”
JaNa spoke more about the drama in an August 2025 interview with People. She told the outlet she felt misled about Kenny’s intentions.
“I thought it was a good relationship, but it wasn’t,” she shared. “I hate that people were telling me like, ‘There were so many red flags that you missed.’ I just feel like when someone has a hidden agenda, they’re going to come off as genuine as possible to reach their goal.”
JaNa isn’t letting heartbreak slow her down. She told People she is already looking towards the future.
“I’m really, really good at moving on,” she said. “I just continue to practice gratitude. It didn’t kill me.”
What else has JaNa said about her split from Kenny Rodriguez?
JaNa held back in her original Instagram statement, opting to conceal certain details about the split. However, once Kenny shared his statement, she chose to reveal a bit more.
“@Kennyrodriguez stfu you manipulative liar,” she wrote on Instagram. “You are not taking accountability and telling people the type of person you are really are is insane to me!! My first statement was me being nice.”
Fans who only know JaNa and Kenny from Love Island USA were shocked by the split, but those caught up on Love Island: Beyond the Villa saw the writing on the wall. The spinoff captured a few tense moments between the couple, mainly stemming from a disagreement about whether to live together or not.
In one scene, JaNa opened up to Leah and Serena about the relationship, revealing Kenny has a dark side.
“He just gave me straight eye contact, like he just locked in,” she said. “It looked like he was giving me serial killer vibes.” I don’t claim to be a relationship expert, but when your partner reminds you of a serial killer it’s probably not going to work.
Kenny and JaNa are over for good
The reasons behind JaNa and Kenny’s split appear to be quite serious, so fans shouldn’t hold their breath for a reconciliation. Most of the Season 6 cast has unfollowed Kenny and released statements slamming him for his behavior. Love Island: Beyond the Villa may score a second season, but I doubt Kenny will be invited back.
