According to the Daily Mail‘s exclusive report, Blanco has made it clear “that this is her wedding first, and their wedding second.” An insider told the outlet that he is “ecstatic that at the end of that day she will be his bride.”
The report continued, noting that while Blanco is “forever grateful” to be marrying Gomez, “he has told her that he wants her to make most of the decisions.” However, this approach reportedly caused friction from the outset. The planning “wasn’t smooth sailing at first,” the source said. Moreover, they noted that both Gomez and Blanco have a tendency to delay decisions and that some friends see Blanco as a “bit lazy.”
What might sound like a “nice gesture” has nonetheless led to frustration, according to the insider. They claimed that Gomez “feels [Blanco] could step up and make some decisions.” Even so, the source said the couple has pushed through the bumps and is now on track.
