Another season of The Kelly Clarkson Show is coming very soon. The Emmy Award-winning talk show had been on hiatus throughout the summer.
Last month Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, died of melanoma. During their marriage, they had a daughter (River) and a son (Remington) born in 2014 and 2016, respectively. She revealed his illness on August 6 while also notifying fans that her Las Vegas residency would be delayed. Kelly did this to be fully present for her two children during that difficult time.
The show was picked up by nearly every US TV market before its premiere in 2019, and it has since been airing in Canada and Australia. This fun, energetic show, which breaks with tradition as advertised when it was released, goes into production for a new season in the coming days.
The Kelly Clarkson Show will return for Season 7 in September

On Wednesday, NBC confirmed that The Kelly Clarkson Show is returning to the airwaves with new episodes later this month. Production on season 7 begins the week of September 8.
According to a press release from People, the new season will feature an episode honoring the heroes who rescued campers from a devastating flood in Texas in July. The series officially returns on September 29.
It promises to be a busy fall for the Grammy Award winner, who will also be lending her expertise on The Voice. The 29th season of that talent show is coming out soon. During Kelly’s absence, another former American Idol contestant, Jennifer Hudson, had been filling in for her. The singer of the smash hit “Miss Independent” last appeared on The Voice during Season 23. This upcoming season she’ll serve as a guest mentor alongside John Legend and Adam Levine.
Her talk show has been hugely successful since its debut, with over 1,000 episodes recorded, while winning 22 Emmys. The show earned is up for eight Daytime Emmy Awards this year, including Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host.
