Jeff Probst knows what it takes to be a Survivor. After all, he’s only had 25 years of practice watching people outwit, outplay, and outlast one another. Could he possibly take all the knowledge and put it into practice on another duplicitous reality competition show? He thinks so! Jeff would love to give The Traitors USA a shot.
Honestly, it’s a match made in heaven! The Traitors show has always put together a unique and unconventional cast. Why not throw in the Survivor host and see if he can survive the games?

Gayle King caught up with the host and TV producer at the Emmys. They exchanged stories about Survivor, and then Gayle asked him a question.
“Other than Survivor, which one of all the other shows do you think you could win?” she said.
“Oh, could win?” Jeff clarified. “I’ve never thought of that question before.”
“Yes, that you could win as a contestant,” Gayle clarified.
“I’d like to give Traitors a shot,” Jeff answered. “I like the duplicity. It’s so fun. It’s what’s fun about Survivor. The rules are you can lie (except to the producers), cheat, do whatever you want.” He paused and added, “What are you willing to do? That’s the question. So I like that. I like the social manipulation.”
It would make sense that Jeff would feel an affinity for Traitors after years of watching hundreds of contestants do whatever it takes to win.
“So is Jeff Probst a duplicitous person?” Gayle followed up.
“Depending on the situation and the context,” he answered with the aplomb of a seasoned TV veteran. “Absolutely!” Jeff went on to explain to Gayle that they would make a great team because no one would see it coming. He even shared with her how they could fool the other players.
“So you already know how to do this?” Gayle asked, surprised.
“I’ve been in Hollywood a while,” Jeff answered with a laugh. Honestly, he would make an excellent and formidable contestant. And he wouldn’t even have to eat parasites to play the game!
Alan Cumming, are you listening? Make it happen! Many celebrities begging to be on the show but this is just too good to pass up. After all, who wouldn’t want to see the ultimate Survivor try to outwit, outplay, and outlast everyone else at the Scottish castle?
Survivor Season 49 premieres Sept 24, 8pm ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
