Real Housewives of New Jersey may be on pause, but Melissa and Joe Gorga are not slowing down. At Page Six’s September 2025 Virtual Reali-Tea awards, the Jersey love birds dished to Reality Tea about other reality shows they have their eye on.
Joe Gorga thinks he and wife Melissa “would kill it” on The Traitors
Melissa expressed an interest in the Peacock series The Traitors, telling us, “I watch The Traitors and I say, ‘I would be really great at this. I should do this.’ And I would love us to do it as a couple.”
Joe appeared enthusiastic about the idea of appearing on the competition show with his wife, saying, “We would kill it.”
While Melissa admitted to being intrigued by the show’s premise, she shared a few reservations about The Traitors’ filming schedule.
“I can’t go without my phone for three weeks,” she said. “How do I have contact with my kids? I need to call home. And my businesses, too!” When competing on The Traitors, stars have their mobile phones taken away while filming takes place.
We asked Joe if there are any competition shows he’s been eyeing, noting he would crush it on Survivor.
“Oh, I’d kill that too,” he said in reference to the CBS show.
As for the future of RHONJ, Melissa and Joe said that is in the hands of Bravo.
“I wish we knew more,” Melissa said. “Honestly, we hear the same things you do because they don’t trust us. They don’t tell us any inside info. They want to be the ones to announce it. I do think they are working on it. We’re just waiting for some answers.”
