There may be more drama on the horizon surrounding the Jimmy Kimmel controversy.
That’s according to his cousin, Sal Iocono, who teased that the comedian’s suspension from ABC may not be the only shock fans hear of. “I wish I could say anything. There are a couple of bombshells still there,” said Sal.
The network suspended Jimmy last week for his opinions following the death of Charlie Kirk. The former Oscars host is reportedly seeking to get out of his ABC contract due to the censorship.
Jimmy Kimmel’s cousin Sal Iacono hints at a “couple bombshells” still to surface

It does not appear we’ll be seeing Jimmy Kimmel on TV anytime soon, at least not on ABC.
That’s something Sal suggested during an appearance on the Bill Simmons Podcast. He called last week “tumultuous,” adding that he, his cousin and family got together this past weekend.
While it’s been a chaotic time for the comedian, Sal is confident that Jimmy will land on his feet. “Everything’s going to be just fine,” said Sal. Bill, who’d worked as a writer on the late-night show, previously agreed.
What those supposed bombshells are for now remains to be seen. “You and I know too much. It’s very emotional,” Sal told Bill on Sunday. However, Sal did hint that some big news could come to light as early as this week.
He has been reluctant to discuss the show further out of respect for the numerous staff members of Jimmy Kimmel Live! whose jobs appear to be at stake. For the moment, those employed from the show are being paid while talks between Jimmy and executives at Disney, ABC’s parent company, continue.
Talk-show celebrities like Bill Maher, John Oliver, David Letterman, Stephen Colbert, and Howard Stern are among the many to come out in support of Jimmy.
