Prince Harry’s Memoir Remarks Only Added Another Betrayal for Prince William, Source Claims

Prince Harry is doing everything possible to call a truce between him and his brother, Prince William. He even met his father, King Charles, for the first time in over 19 months to rebuild their ties. However, his recent remark about his memoir, “Spare,” is backfiring on his plans. According to sources, Harry’s memoir defence only worsens things between him and his older brother.

Prince Harry’s memoir remarks will further distance him from Prince William, source claims

Prince Harry might be doing everything he can to mark his return to the royal palace. But it seems his recent defence of his memoir, “Spare,” is doing more harm than good. A source has told RadarOnline.com that his latest remarks “will feel like another betrayal” for Prince William.

The Prince of Wales, “guards his family’s privacy closely, and each time Harry goes public, the distance between them only grows,” confessed the insider. Even a long-time commentator believes that “by stressing again that he had no regrets, he only deepened the rift.”

Harry’s comment about his book came shortly after he met his father in London. After their meeting, the Duke of Sussex left for Ukraine, where he gave a televised interview. During the interview, the 41-year-old defended his memoir, saying the book “was a series of corrections to stories already out there.” He further cleared that he did not air his “dirty laundry in public,” insisting his “conscience is clear.” The duke even argued that “there cannot be reconciliation before you have truth.”

Post his talk, an insider confessed, ”It felt like Harry blew everything up just as progress was being made. It was a totally wrecking ball moment.” The source added that Harry’s move “looked careless and confrontational.” His memoir defence “suggested he isn’t able to draw a line between private and public.”

Sharing the same sentiments, another source added, “The palace’s view is clear – as long as Harry continues to make family disputes public, the chance of returning is gone.” Although the monarch “still cares for Harry as his son, from the institution’s standpoint, the way back is blocked.” The insider said, “his recent remarks only pushed that door shut even harder.”
