Prince William is allegedly furious that his brother Prince Harry is trying to work his way back into the royal family. After abandoning his royal duties and moving to California with his wife, Meghan Markle, William still resents comments they’ve made since then. There’s also the matter of intimate details revealed in Harry’s memoir, Spare.
After visiting his father King Charles for the first time in several months, Harry hopes to get back into his family’s good graces. But William isn’t ready to forgive and forget, nor may he ever be.
“It sickens William that Harry has wormed his way back into his father’s affections,” a source claimed. “To him, it’s just wrong on every level — and utterly ridiculous.”

“The fact Harry now has this direct line back to the family – despite all the pain and misery he’s inflicted – simply defies belief,” an insider told Radar Online. “William is totally bewildered and frustrated that it’s being sanctioned. It totally changes royal history.”
“William’s big point is that there’s no evidence to suggest Harry has changed,” the source continued. “He’s convinced this groveling effort is part of an overall plot for the Sussexes to hold on to their precious titles and try to salvage what they can from the monarchy, while his father’s still alive to be manipulated.”
Currently, Charles is fighting an unspecified type of cancer, although some sources suggest it’s a “losing battle.”
Though some palace insiders think Kate Middleton may have tried to persuade William to forgive, he stands firm. “The king and others … are urging William to show mercy,” the source continued. “But he’s saying that’ll happen when hell freezes over. Harry may have wormed his way back into Charles’ heart, but it’s going to take a lot more to prove to William that he’s changed.”
Palace sources believe that William is planning on icing out Harry and Meghan when he is king. “William feels the monarchy has to move forward with a smaller, tighter unit,” an insider revealed. “He believes that means phasing out Harry and Meghan completely and stripping away their last traces of royal privilege, including their HRH titles and their children’s titles.”
Even if Harry is once again embraced by his family, Meghan could suffer the most. She’s been clear that she doesn’t want to live in England, but it’s Harry’s home. He’s already talking about educating their children in the UK. However, if her husband decides to rejoin the royal family, it could prove the end of their marriage.
