Reuniting the best-selling girl group of all time is on the mind of its former Posh member.
Victoria Beckham recently attended an Oasis concert with her husband and former England footballer David. The crowd’s reaction to the English group’s reunion seemed to resonate with the woman who was Posh Spice in the Spice Girls.
The women’s band sold over 100 million records worldwide before going their separate ways in the early 2000s. The five girls who took the world by storm in the 90s have come back for a couple of tours since breaking up.
Victoria might want to go back on the road with her former bandmates once again.
Victoria Beckham finds performing again “tempting” after attending an Oasis concert
The roar of thousands of screaming fans and the luxurious life of a pop star is a contagious feeling many people crave.
Even when you’ve experienced that as much as Victoria and her bandmates have, performing again is sometimes on your mind. That performance bug seems to have bitten the fashion designer. At the Oasis concert, she posted a photo from inside the venue on Instagram with thousands of fans saying “Tempting…”
Victoria hasn’t done shows with her fellow Spice Girls since the return of the Spice Girls Tour, which ran from 2007 to 2008. The tour generated a box office growth of over $70 million, selling more than 500,000 tickets across 45 of the 47 concerts.
The group embarked on a Spice World Tour in 2019, although Victoria did not participate due to other commitments. Missing out on that success and seeing the popularity of reunion shows may be sucking her back into that world.
The Spice World Tour sold out all 13 shows, including the final three at Wembley Stadium. Over 700,000 people attended the tour, which pocketed over $78 million in ticket sales.
