Nicole Kidman had once revealed in an interview with The Sun that she had to take a break from filming her erotic thriller Babygirl as she “didn’t want to orgasm any more.”
In the movie, the 58-year-old actress portrays the role of Romy Mathis, a powerful CEO and boss lady, dissatisfied with her married life and pursues a passionate affair with her much younger intern, Samuel.
Kidman had spoken at length about the experience of filming intimate scenes with her on-screen husband Antonio Banderas and her love interest, played by Harris Dickinson. She said, “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more'”(via The Sun).
She revealed that the enormous pressure to film the steamy scenes, coupled with the intensity of the film, took a toll on her, leading to burnout. “I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it. It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.”
Meanwhile, the Eyes Wide Shut star has filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage. The news was first reported by TMZ. According to a report by PEOPLE, Kidman has filed for divorce in Nashville, where the couple resides, and has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The couple shares two children.
