The former couple shared a surprising moment when Affleck approached Lopez during an interview on the red carpet. While JLo was speaking to Access Hollywood about the musical, Ben interrupted with a smile and asked for a photo together. Lopez, visibly surprised, responded, “You’re here — yes, I’ll get you the picture right now.”
This was the first red-carpet outing for the high-profile exes since their divorce was finalized in January, marking the end of their two-year marriage.
Lopez wore a sculptural gown from Harris Reed’s spring 2026 collection featuring a bold corset. Affleck complemented her look and looked sharp in a navy suit paired with a crisp white shirt, as he posed on the red carpet with his arm around his ex-wife.
Ahead of the screening, Lopez took a moment to introduce the film and express her gratitude to her ex-husband, saying, “Thank you so much, thank you everybody for being here tonight. Thank you, Ben, this movie wouldn’t have been possible without Artist Equity,” per People.
JLo leads the cast alongside Diego Luna and Tonatiuh, with the film co-produced by Affleck.
The exes were first married in July 2022, but by August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce, citing that they had been separated for over a year.
The two had famously dated in the early 2000s and even got engaged. However, the former duo called off their wedding at the time, attributing the breakup partly to intense media scrutiny.
