The Eyes Wide Shut star unveiled her stunning new curtain bangs at the CHANEL SS26 Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday, October 6. The actress delivered a carefree yet chic look, creating one of the most standout fashion moments of the night.
Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel, who also serves as the creative director of Virtue Labs, achieved the hair transformation. Abergel shared a video of Kidman rocking the new hairstyle on his Instagram. “What a night @chanelofficial New bang era,” he captioned the video, shouting out Kidman as Chanel’s newest ambassador.
In an interview with People, Abergel gave a peek into his creative process and revealed the inspiration behind the look. “We pulled references from the early 1970s — think soft texture, lived-in movement, and that iconic French-girl nonchalance,” he shared.
“For the premiere of Mathiew’s collection for Chanel, we gave Nicole a fresh cut and leaned into an effortless, early ’70s French vibe,” Abergel added.
The short clip features Kidman debuting dramatic bangs that perfectly complement her golden tresses. She styled a white oversized button-up shirt, keeping it classic with a pair of wide-leg jeans. Kidman exuded French chic with the ensemble, rocking the effortless yet elegant look.
Kidman’s latest fashion moment comes a week after she filed for divorce from Keith Urban on September 30, ending their 19-year-long marriage. A report by TMZ confirms that they have been living separately since the beginning of the summer.
The actress attended the Chanel show with her two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, and her niece, Lucia Hawley.
