Season 7 of the“Real Housewives” is coming to a close with two cast members revealing that they are expecting. As the three-part reunion approaches, Shamea Morton and Pinky Cole both revealed they’re expecting, giving fans a happier storyline amid the season’s drama.

Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is ending with its three-part reunion, which begins airing on August 9. Ahead of the reunion, Bravo shared an update confirming Shamea Morton’s pregnancy, while a preview for the reunion revealed that Pinky Cole is expecting her fourth child.
“We’re pregnant,” Shamea Morton told her husband, Gerald Mwangi, during the season 17 finale. “We are? Oh, that’s awesome,” Gerald responded. Morton isn’t carrying the baby herself. Instead, the couple is expanding their family through a surrogate, and she became emotional after receiving the update.
When Cohen asked Cole about being labeled a “bully” during her first season on the show, Cole replied, “I don’t even want to ever hear the B-word again. The only B-word that I want to talk about is the fact that I’m having a baby!” She added, “Oh, my god! I don’t want no problems, okay?” signalling her desire to stay away from conflicts and controversies that marked her during the first season.
However, there is another twist in the tale. During Season 17, Cole’s mother was seen opposing her daughter’s having another child. At the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked her about Cole’s mother’s reaction to her pregnancy news.
Pinky laughed that her mom was “mad as f*ck”. She also revealed that she’s due in December and joked that she might name the baby “Braveisha.” It has been confirmed that Cole is not expected to return for Season 18.
In other news, an insider has revealed that the network is eager to welcome back NeNe Leakes to the show. As of now, Shamea has not gotten a contract to return, while Kelli Porter has. The source has also said that filming for Season 18 will begin in 3 weeks.
