Taylor Swift is doing the chat show rounds to promote her new album (as if that thing needs any promotion). She stopped by The Graham Norton Show last week, where she also talked about her recent engagement. An audience member is spilling the tea on an alleged interaction that was cut from the final show.
A deleted scene from Taylor Swift’s interview on The Graham Norton Show has been revealed by an audience member
Taylor’s appearance on the British talk show included a bit of chat about her upcoming nuptials. After showing off her gigantic ring, host Graham asked about her plans for the wedding.
According to a TikTok user who says she was present at the show’s taping, things took a bit of an awkward turn. The fan says in a video: “There was a part when Graham was talking to Taylor about the upcoming wedding and planning it.”
The Swiftie says that Jodie Turner-Smith then asked: “And what about babies?”
Thinking the actress was talking about wedding guests, Taylor allegedly replied: “Oh, no under-18s are coming, just adults.”
Jodie apparently clarified: “No, no, I mean, are you going to have babies?”
The TikTok user claims that Graham then stepped in to shut down the probing question. The fan said: “Instantly he went, ‘That’s an off-camera conversation to have.’”
The incident isn’t the first time Taylor has been hit with an awkward question during her stint in the UK. She previously labeled one enquiry “shockingly offensive” while promoting The Life of a Showgirl on BBC Radio.
Also on the show, Taylor invited Graham to her upcoming wedding, much to his delight. Clearly, it’s going to be a pretty big affair – she also invited British DJ Greg James last week.
