The Dancing with the Stars audience was not living for Carrie Ann Inaba’s critiques of Danielle Fishel. The Boy Meets World star and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, did a Dedication Night tribute to William Daniels, aka Mr. Feeny from the iconic ‘90s show. Everyone was all smiles — everyone except Carrie Ann.
Carrie Ann Inaba was booed for her Dancing with the Stars judging
After Danielle and Pasha did a Dedication Night jive for a 98-year-old Mr. Feeny, Carrie Ann had the audacity to give the couple negative feedback. She told them that all of their dances were starting to look the same.
“I love a throwback, but I have to say this,” Carrie Ann began. “Some of your dances are starting to feel like I’m watching the same dance over and over again.”
Try to give a little bit more variety as far as dynamics. This is also on you, Pasha,” she continued as the audience booed.
Although the DWTS audience felt protective of the Boy Meets World stars, Danielle told Us Weekly that she wasn’t upset about Carrie Ann’s critique.
“I absolutely understand what Carrie Ann was saying, and it’s the reason I did not take any offense to it,” she told the outlet. “I appreciate it.”
According to Danielle, she could understand why Carrie Ann felt like their dances were starting to look the same. Either way, they’re still alive in the competition. Next week is Wicked Night, and she teased that she and Pasha are plotting on how they’ll mix things up.
“I’m really excited to give [Carrie Ann] a different style and to show her a different side of me,” Danielle teased. “So I’m thankful for the feedback and I appreciate it.”
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
