Joe Rogan talks about Tom Cruise on podcast
During his recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the host delved into the subject of Tom Cruise, the actor who has continued to push the boundaries of physical stunts over the years, especially with his decades-old Mission Impossible franchise.
From scaling skyscrapers to dangling from planes, Cruise has never taken the easy way out when it came to shooting complicated scenes. This is what Rogan referred to in his podcast. The topic came up when the podcaster was speaking with United States Navy SEAL Jack Carr.
Speaking about the actor, Rogan said, “That’s why guys like Tom Cruise are so nuts, because he does his own stunts.” He continued, “He’s worth a billion dollars, and he jumps off roofs. He jumps from rooftop to rooftop and breaks his f—ing ankle…shatters his ankle and then keeps running. You can see the ankle’s shattered. You can see the ankle hit the side, and see the ankle give in…and then he lands on it, he just hobbles off running and saved the scene.”
At this age, Cruise is still not slowing down and has a horde of upcoming projects. So, not only has Tom Cruise taken on dangerous tasks, but he also plans to continue doing so over the coming years.
Over the years, many have expressed their admiration for the actor-producer and his exceptional stunts. He remains one of the most popular and profitable actors in the industry, and it seems like this will be the norm for quite some time to come.
