As King Charles and Queen Camilla prepare to visit Pope Leo XIV, rumors continue to swirl about the King’s sons. There was reportedly a rift between Prince William and his father after King Charles secretly met with Prince Harry. And no one knows exactly where Harry stands with his father.
Now, there is gossip that there could be some sort of reunion or talk ahead of Christmas. Of course, we don’t really know if Prince William and his brother are ready to reunite. However, if it were to happen, the holidays could be the perfect excuse.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit Pope Leo at the Vatican

King Charles and Queen Camilla were scheduled to visit in April, but rescheduled due to Pope Francis’ poor health at the time. Sadly, Pope Francis passed away on April 21, 2025. The cardinals chose American-born Robert Prevost as the new pope, Pope Leo.
PEOPLE reported that King Charles will receive a commemorative chair when he visits the Vatican. This seat, which will bear Charles’ coat of arms, will be used by the King when he attends a service at an ancient basilica. The gift is a sign of respect from the Pope. When King Charles departs, the chair will have a permanent home in the Basilica of St. Paul’s Outside the Walls.
During his visit, King Charles and Queen Camilla will celebrate the 2025 Jubilee Year with Pope Leo at the Apostolic Palace. In addition, Pope Leo and the King will pray together in the Sistine Chapel during an ecumenical service. According to Buckingham Palace, this marks the first time in centuries that a pope and a king have participated in this tradition.
Meanwhile, Queen Camilla will visit with the choirs following the service, while Pope Leo and King Charles join a discussion about sustainability. This meeting will take place in The Sala Regia.
