Nicki Minaj’s Sudden Instagram Account Deactivation Confuses Fans

Nicki Minaj seems to have deactivated her Instagram account, sparking speculation among fans online. Although the star remains tight-lipped about the sudden departure from the platform, she has more to say on her X (formerly Twitter) page.

Nicki Minaj’s fans left confused after she deactivates Instagram account

Nicki Minaj’s unexpected exit from Instagram has baffled fans across the internet. The “Super Bass” rapper deactivated her account on Monday, October 20, without any prior notice. Furthermore, Minaj has not given any explanation behind this decision and has yet to announce when she will return to the platform.

The following day, Minaj shared a string of pointed posts on her X (formerly Twitter) page. This included an AI-generated image of Jay-Z wearing a pink bob wig and a crop top. She also launched a scathing attack on Charlamagne tha God and Gucci Mane, as well as the latter’s wife, Keyshia Ka’oir.

“Gucci wife has been trying to be me for years. Been dying for the spotlight for years. She’s there to keep Gucci sedated. Gucci hates Debra Antney. They don’t want Deb around me. She’s around me now,” Minaj wrote on the X post on Monday.

The rapper continued, “Charlamane the fraud (Jay-z friend & business associate) using iHeartRadio for these disgusting ploys against innocent families. He was around Wendy b4 her life went to hell. The buck stops here baby. Bookmark this tweet.”

Furthermore, Minaj remains silent on her IG deactivation and has yet to provide any explanation behind the exit. Some fans are reminded of a line from Minaj’s 2018 hit “Barbie Tingz,” where she raps, “Had to come off IG so they can’t stalk me.”

Meanwhile, the Barbz are eagerly anticipating the release of Minaj’s new music. The rapper had recently announced her “Billionaire Barbie” era and teased the release of a forthcoming album in 2026.

In a since-deleted post, she penned, “I could put out an album tomorrow and still revolutionize the industry yet again on 3.27.26. And then turn around and still release another blockbuster 4th quarter of 26.” However, there have been no further updates on the album’s release date. (via Complex)
