Kevin Federline’s new memoir was released yesterday. As expected given the promo so far, the book contains no shortage of shocking claims. In the latest revelations, Kevin accuses ex Britney Spears of mistreating their sons, including giving them chemical burns.

Kevin’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, has already made headlines thanks to the claims it makes about Britney. Previous excerpts included accusations that the singer did cocaine while breastfeeding and once punched son Preston in the face.
Now, further allegations in the book have come to light upon its release. Kevin writes that Britney forced Preston to bathe with her when he was 10 or 11. He also claims she fed both sons shellfish despite knowing they were allergic to it.
The former backup dancer says he became worried about leaving the couple’s sons with Britney due to her erratic and even harmful behavior. He claims Jayden was once hospitalized after getting hold of pills while staying with the singer. Another time, Kevin says the boys came home with bleached hair.
He writes: “Not just streaked or lightly done. It was bleached down to their scalps. Their skin was burned. I had to shave their heads, and their scalps looked like leopard print from their chemical burns.”
Kevin says that when the boys were teens, they said they didn’t want to visit Britney anymore. He claims that soon after, Britney and Preston got into an argument on the phone, during which she said she wished they (Kevin and the boys) were dead.
Kevin writes of the alleged incident: “How could a mother say that to her son? Preston, having dealt with her vitriol for years, took it better than I did. He understood her anger and instability, but it didn’t make it any less painful. Trauma like that left scars, ones I fear they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.”
