Justin Bieber on Potential Tour: ‘Super Daunting’

Justin Bieber has a disappointing update for fans hoping for a world tour in the near future. The 31-year-old singer opened up about his current feelings toward touring, revealing that while he loves performing, the idea of committing to a long run of shows now feels “super daunting.”

Justin Bieber comments on potential tour in future

During a Twitch stream on October 31, Justin Bieber admitted that years of back-to-back touring have taken a toll on him. “I think just because I’ve been touring for so long, just even the idea of touring at this point in my life sounds super daunting,” said Bieber. “I always start out really loving it… And then it always gets to a point where I’m just super burned out.”

The singer explained that his new approach involves choosing quality over quantity when it comes to live performances. “I really want to do spot dates, where I just pick maybe a city and do a couple shows, and not commit to a whole two-year run,” he shared. “That’s usually what it is, like, for a year and a half, two years.”

Now, instead of planning another exhaustive world tour, Bieber is focusing all his energy on his upcoming Coachella performance. “But right now, I’m just focusing on Coachella,” he said. “I got one show next year, in April, which is a long time away. And I’m just gonna focus on that for now and give my all to it. And so that doesn’t feel super overwhelming.”

Bieber is set to headline both Saturday shows at Coachella 2026, on April 11 and 18. He is joining an impressive lineup that includes Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, and Anyma. The “Baby” hitmaker shared that he plans to perform tracks from both of his “Swag” projects and mix in some of his older hits. “I haven’t performed these songs live yet, and that’ll be kind of the first time I really do them all live like that,” Bieber said.
