If you thought Season 9 of Selling Sunset was chaotic, the off-screen drama is even worse. This particular feud started with Emma Hernan and her on again-off again boyfriend Blake Davis. The two started dating back in 2023, but it didn’t take long for her (now ex) best friend Chrishell Stause to disapprove. And, after the filming for the ninth season wrapped, she took her criticism of him to social media. In May 2025, Chrishell claimed that he said “pronouns are dumb” in reference to her partner G Flip. Yikes.
Emma seemingly responded by breaking up with him, but now that the two lovebirds are back together, she’s at his side. Specifically, she did an interview defending him, arguing that Chrishell was lying. Emma insisted that Blake never said anything negative about pronouns. The only mistake that he made was accidentally calling G Flip a “wife”. But, after Emma corrected him, he hasn’t said it since. Chrishell has responded to this interview, and to put it plainly, she says it’s a bunch of BS.
Chrishell Stause didn’t appreciate Emma Hernan defending Blake Davis
Chrishell recently took to her Instagram stories to post a rebuttal against Emma’s interview. According to her, she’s not the liar, but rather, Emma is the one not telling the truth.
“This is NOT what was said. But good job Emma in flaming the hate for my partner and their preferred pronoun use, she ranted in the November 4 story.
The reality TV star continued, alleging that Blake has made public offensive comments on his own accord since this instance.
“I will wait to see what airs on the reunion before fully responding. But since filming the reunion his very own hateful posts on his IG story against [the] LGBTQ+ community speak volumes on who to believe here.”
Chrishell has never hesitated to take her comments to social media, which doesn’t go over well with everyone. Co-star Mary Bonnet just called her out for airing out her dirty laundry with Emma and Blake online. But, judging by this IG story, it doesn’t seem like she cares. Plus, she is supposedly done with Selling Sunset, so might as well get it all out.
