Elizabeth Olsen’s Miu Miu Dress’s Sleeves Totally Ruin the Look

Elizabeth Olsen recently graced the red carpet at the special screening of her new movie, “Eternity.” She appeared in a red Miu Miu dress, which caught fans’ attention. The 36-year-old slayed at the event and posed gracefully for the cameras, donning her beautiful signature smile. While the Marvel star looked gorgeous in the vibrant color, only her side profile stole the show, as the sleeves didn’t do the look justice.

Elizabeth Olsen stuns in Miu Miu dress, but only from the side

Elizabeth Olsen’s Miu Miu dress recently made headlines. On Wednesday, the actor attended the special screening of the upcoming movie, “Eternity,” in Los Angeles. On the red carpet, she wowed in a fiery red ensemble. While she carried the dress like a queen, the ruffled sleeves, unfortunately, might have totally ruined the look.

The “WandaVision” star wore a red midi from Miu Miu and was styled by Elizabeth Stewart and Jordan Grossman. With a square neckline, the dress featured ruffled sleeves with their ends reaching all the way to her high waistline. Furthermore, the outfit featured a column skirt, which helped define her elegant features perfectly.

Olsen completed her look with silver jewelry from David Webb, provided by The Back Vault. Meanwhile, makeup artist Pati Dubroff glammed her up in rosy shades. The Golden Globe nominee opted for a pinkish-toned lip shade instead of matching the scarlet red of her dress. Along with that, hairstylist John D left her hair loose for the event, giving it a wavy look. Her bangs perfectly completed the look.

While the custom Miu Miu dress was absolutely stunning, many didn’t like the sleeves. Thus, photos capturing Olsen’s side profile were a fan favorite. But snaps of her from the front, which further highlighted the frilly sleeves, didn’t do the look any favors. Everything worked for the overall fit except the sleeves, which would have looked much better if they were in a chic V shape.

Interestingly, Miuccia Prada’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection of domestic workwear-inspired pieces featured similar frilly elements. During Paris Fashion Week, the luxury fashion house showcased the ready-to-wear collection, focusing on ruffled motifs.
