In the June 25 episode of their Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp called out The Valley cast, and in particular, one cast member liking posts mentioning the Capernas.
In The Valley Season 3 Episode 12, the cast traveled to Mexico for some cast birthday celebrations. During a drunken party, Lala Kent brought up Danny Booko’s liking some inappropriate posts on social media.
According to Lala, Danny had liked posts about Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna being involved in “cucking.” The word Lala was actually looking for was “cuckolding,” which is a centuries-old expression referring to a man whose wife is cheating behind his back. In a flashback, Janet told Lala, “Danny and Nia [Booko] have ‘liked’ stuff, saying that Jason likes to see me have sex with other men in front of him.”
Does Janet Caperna get worse treatment than the rest of the Valley cast?
Apparently, Danny was hurt and angry over Janet’s past comments about him “sexually assaulting” Jasmine Goode. As he was scrolling through social media posts, he was casually liking those that were critical of Janet. The problem was that Danny was indiscriminately hitting the “like” button, not realizing that he was indicating agreement with the whole post.
In Season 2, Janet told Zack Wickham, “Obviously, I’m bisexual. So technically, when I’m not with Jason, he’s like, ‘I don’t care if you hook up with girls.’ I’ve never acted on that, though.” Of course, the Internet trolls took that information and twisted it into Jason being a “cuckold.”
On Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi said, “Lala tells Danny that it’s a bit weird he was liking comments about Janet and Jason being involved in … ‘cucking.’ Didn’t Janet recently talk about how she wants to hook up with Michelle [Saniei]?”
“If you ‘like’ a post, you like the entirety of what’s in the post,” Teddi continued.
“What would happen if Janet was doing that?” Tamra wondered. “They would tear her ass inside and out … It’d be World War 3.”
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
