Selling Sunset’s Mary Bonnet Claims Chrishell Stause Was ‘Trying To Demean’ Her Character

There has been so much drama resulting from Season 9 of Selling Sunset that it’s been hard to keep up. One feud that has surprisingly emerged post-season is between Chrishell Stause and Mary Bonnet. The last remaining OG female agents of the show, they’ve never had any big blowouts with one another. But now, it seems like everything within their dynamic has changed.

It appears to stem from Mary’s on-screen argument with Chelsea Lazkani. After a blowout dispute over Chelsea sending her flowers (we’re not kidding), Mary later implied that she was in “danger” during that conversation. Chrishell soon took to social media to bash her, scrutinizing her for referring to Chelsea as a dangerous person. It doesn’t seem like Mary was expecting that kind of response, and is now calling her out.

Selling Sunset star Mary Bonnet delves into her Chrishell Stause drama

Mary was a recent guest on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. During the segment she weighed in on her new riff with Chrishell, and it seems like it goes deeper than the Chelsea squabble.

“I’m hurt by her trying to, because she was trying to demean my character, but it was just complete lies and stuff. And I think it’s just really, it’s hurtful more than anything. I’m not even mad. I’m just hurt,” she shared in the November 6 episode.

The reality TV star also explained that she doesn’t think her drama with Chrishell is exactly personal.

“I don’t know like what it is, but I feel like it’s projection or something. I don’t know what it is. Because it’s like, it’s not one target. It’s not like she’s mad at one person. It’s just like, it’s coming out like towards anybody. It’s like, okay. And we kind of joke around about it, but it’s like, “Oh, it’s my day today. It’s my day.”

But, if we’re talking blindsiding, maybe Mary needs to take a look at herself. Upset with co-star Emma Hernan about her controversial boyfriend Blake Davis, Chrishell took to social media to shade them both. Unexpectedly, Mary chimed into the conversation, publicly throwing Chrishell under the bus for not being a good friend to Emma. Wouldn’t that also be considered to be a hurtful move by a supposed friend? This is a two way street, ladies.

Selling Sunset is streaming on Netflix.
