Hilary Duff is sharing some things about her past.
For some time now, the singer and actress is said to be in a sibling rivalry with her sister Haylie, who also sings and acts. At one time, the two were incredibly close, but things have seemingly been rocky between them for several years.
Hilary says her fans can relate to what she’s dealt with growing up. That includes “trying to find yourself in adulthood [or] family drama.”
She and Haylie have not been photographed together in public since 2019, and don’t appear to have interacted with one another on social media. Hilary just released a new song on Friday, and her sister has not posted anything about it.
All of this has led to speculation that a rift exists between the two singers and actresses.
Hilary Duff is “ready to fill in the blanks,” but does that mean working out a rumored feud with sister Haylie?

Hilary is opening up about some of her past. She told Rolling Stone that she’s “ready to fill in the blanks and share with people and connect with them on the level of now.” She says that since the age of nine or 10, she’s had a crazy connection with fans, and wants to reconnect with them.
While she discussed some of her new music, her supposed feud with Haylie and its origins remain a mystery. One theory is that Hillary’s husband, Matthew Koma, doesn’t get along with Haylie or her fiancé, Matthew Rosenberg. Some say Haylie didn’t attend Hilary and Matthew’s 2019 wedding, though various reports at that time suggested otherwise.
Hilary’s new song Mature came last week. She describes it as “self-talking to my younger self about an experience that we had.” Hilary adds that the song is about accepting your past and being good with where you landed.
During her younger years actor Frankie Muniz said his friendship with Hilary ended because of her mom.
More details may come out about Hilary soon. There’s a new docuseries featuring interviews, performances, and videos from her personal archives on the way.
