Gina Kirschenheiter and Tavis Mullen are still going strong, as evidenced on Real Housewives of Orange County. However, matters between Travis and his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen, are stickier than ever.
Travis and Meghan tied the knot in 2010, only to separate in 2016. Together, they have three children. During their divorce proceedings, Travis and Meghan agreed to shared joint physical custody of their kids. But Travis is now claiming that he hasn’t seen one of their children in weeks, which is why he picked up his phone and called the police on Meghan.
Travis Mullen and ex-wife Meghan are embroiled in a contentious custody battle
According to US Weekly, Travis just rushed to his nearest courtroom to plead for temporary sole custody of his three children with Meghan. Travis is asking the courts to strip Meghan of her joint legal and physical custody arrangements. Instead, he is proposing that Meghan have supervised visitation, because he has allegedly not seen one of their children since September 29.
As Travis said, “I have reached out to local police to enforce the current order, but they have not been helpful. I am concerned for [his son’s welfare] and feel that the ‘system’ has completely failed him. This behavior on the part of [Meghan] has been occurring for over a year. And I feel that nobody is advocating,” for my son, Travis explained.
Now, Travis is “seeking assistance from the court.” Not helping matters, Meghan has also reportedly failed to bring one of their children to school. In his filing, Travis claimed that the school threatened to escalate this point to the District Attorney if needed.
But, according to Meghan, their son chose not to spend time with Travis. Meanwhile, she is in contact with their school regarding any absences.
