Meghan Markle clearly likes a man in uniform … and we can’t blame her. To honor her husband on Veterans Day, she shared a video of Prince Harry from his time serving in Afghanistan. And, while the post is a sweet celebration of her husband, it’s definitely a thirst trap, too.
Meghan Markle celebrated her husband Prince Harry on Veterans Day
“As my husband says, ‘Once served. Always serving’,” Meghan wrote in the caption of the video, which is from 2013. “Thank you to all who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve. Honoring you on Veterans Day. And every day.”
In the clip, the Duke of Sussex – who was 28 at the time – is dressed in his army uniform and is in the middle of an interview when an apparent emergency unfolds. Quickly jumping into action, the royal removes his microphone and runs to join other military personnel.
A second slide of the post showed Harry deep in conversation with a fellow veteran.
Comments were turned off on the Instagram post, but royal fans shared their reactions to the thirst trap on X. “Meghan posting her veteran husband, Prince Harry. He showed some abs when he got up to run in that video,” one person said.
“Meghan Sussex is honoring her very own veteran, Prince Harry! How super sweet,” someone else wrote. “The Duchess of Sussex is a proud wife of a veteran!”
Prince Harry initially served in Afghanistan for 10 weeks between 2007 and 2008. His time there was cut short after his location was reportedly leaked to the press, but he was deployed to the country again in 2012 and 2013. During this second tour, Harry spent 20 weeks with the Army Air Corps as a co-pilot and gunner for an Apache helicopter. He later left the army in 2015.
