As star of The Bachelorette Season 22, Taylor Frankie Paul may not yet know who she wants, but she knows what she doesn’t want. After a failed marriage and a relationship in which her boyfriend cheated on her repeatedly, Frankie needs to be selective.
She’s not handing out roses to just everyone. In fact, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alum has already sent a contestant home – before the rose ceremony.

“He made it easy because he was trying to fire back at me,” she told host Jesse Palmer. “And I’m like, ‘Absolutely not. I’m not here to waste your time, please don’t waste mine. If you’re here for the wrong reasons, you’re leaving.”
Though the #MomTok influencer doesn’t regret her quick eviction, Jesse commented that “it was shocking” to the other contestants. “You’re keeping them on their toes also,” he said.
“Yeah,” Frankie agreed. “One of them was, like, ‘You terrified me tonight.’ And I was like, ‘Good!’”
For his part, Jesse approved of her quick reaction. “I think for people at home watching,” he observed, “this is going to be unlike any other Bachelorette season people have ever seen before.”
Confessing that so far the show has been “so fun,” Taylor added, “The group dates have been insane!” But the hardest part, of course, has been “sending people home.”
“You have to send people home, that’s part of this,” she explained. “So saying goodbye is hard. Being away from my family is also difficult. I’ve never been away at all, so this is new to me. But my most favorite part has been the unknown.”
But she’s confident she’ll find her person through the process and end the season in love. “It’s scary to say that because the last thing you want is to be heartbroken at the end of this, when you want this to be a mutual feeling,” she said.
The Bachelorette premieres on March 22, 2026 on Hulu and Disney+.
