Meghan Markle’s Post on Prince Harry Had an Impact on King Charles — Report

King Charles, reportedly, might be in favour of Meghan Markle‘s post on Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex recently shared a video of her husband on her social media. The post dedicated to Remembrance Day witnessed the prince in military uniform. Now, according to a source, the post won’t be an issue for the monarch and the royal family.

As per a former royal butler, Grant Harrold, Meghan Markle’s post for Prince Harry won’t be an issue for King Charles. For the unversed, Harrold worked for the king between 2007 and 2011. He told Reach Plc that the monarch would be happy to see his daughter-in-law acknowledging veterans.

The old employee shared, “It’s a very powerful video, and a very emotive post.” He further added, “It’s definitely showing Meghan’s move to a more ‘celebrity’ approach to social media, sharing the video she wants and feels are important on key days.”

“It’s a really nice post,” Harrold continued. He explained, “I don’t think the Royal Family will feel badly about it at all, I think they will approve it.”. “She’s marking Veterans Day – which is America’s version of Remembrance Day – and showing her pride in the active service her husband undertook,” he said. Harrold concluded, “The King was extremely proud of his son serving in Afghanistan.” As such, “he will be glad at Meghan acknowledging and respecting this.”

Talking more about the former “Suits” alum’s post, the 44-year-old posted a clip of her husband’s second deployment in Afghanistan. In the video, he is seen giving an interview but is forced to leave midway following a military alert. Further, she has added a picture of the prince’s time at the Sunnybrook Hospital’s Veterans Centre in Toronto.

Markle captioned the post, “As my husband says, “Once served. Always serving. Thank you to all who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve. Honoring you on Veterans Day. And every day..” Prince Harry was in the military between 2005 and 2015, during which he made two tours to Afghanistan.
