As fans are aware, BravoCon happened this past weekend. Summer House star Kyle Cooke was on-site, dropping hints about Season 10.
In addition, Kyle was promoting the Summer House spinoff, currently using a working title of In The City. So far, Bravo has confirmed Kyle, his wife Amanda Batula and their pal Lindsay Hubbard as cast members for the NYC-based show.
Kyle Cooke thinks Summer House spinoff In The City could show a different side of the cast
When talking to Us Weekly, Kyle teased “explosive moments” in the new show. He and Amanda are reportedly going through a “rough patch” in their marriage, which we’ll see in Season 10.
“It’s a bit of a roller-coaster ride,” the Loverboy founder added. “I feel like I always say that, but on a personal level, certainly. I’m getting older, trying to keep up with the youngins … We had an amazing time, and we always manage to find different things to do in the Hamptons.”
Once Season 10 was completed, Kyle and Amanda went right into taping In The City. The aspiring DJ looks forward to showing his “real life” in NYC. They may spend summer weekends in the Hamptons, but their everyday life is in New York.
“What I’ve always been excited about any time we do something in the city is reminding everyone that — believe [it] or not — we don’t party full-time,” he said. “We’re New Yorkers, and that means we also work a lot. We have other friends that you haven’t necessarily met. It’s going to show that next chapter, and there’s gonna be some familiar faces and some new faces.”
“I’ve always been an open book,” he continued. “Lindsay, Amanda [and I] wear it on our sleeves. It’s not always easy, but we try to show anything and everything. I talked about some of the hardships of running an alcohol brand in a very, very fiercely competitive industry … You’ll get some business and pieces of the day-to-day that you don’t necessarily follow on Summer House, [as well as] better glimpse into friendships. We have some friends that are a little ahead of us — friends with kids. There’s actually married couples on this new show, so it’s kinda nice being around people that have been through a bunch of life experiences.”
