Real Housewives of New Jersey’s nastiest divorce has just taken a disturbing turn. Friend of the Housewives Danielle Staub had police remove her estranged husband, Marty Caffrey, from their home on January 3.
Season 13 of Real Housewives of Orange County was, in all honesty, a snooze-fest. The biggest source of drama, other than Tamra Judge’s constant complaints about being Shannon Beador’s best friend, were the fireworks between OG Housewife Vicki Gunvalson and single (and oh-so-ready to mingle) Kelly Dodd.
Kelly accused Vicki of breaking “girl code” by going on a double-date with Vicki’s boyfriend, Steve Lodge, one of Vicki’s friends, and Kelly’s ex-husband, Michael Dodd. She was furious by Vicki’s betrayal. Now, she isn’t a big fan of Steve’s, either. Still, that issue drove most of the season to its
exciting lackluster conclusion.
If there is one thing that is glaringly obvious on Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11, is that the show needs some drama. Real drama. So far, we just have Porsha Williams hiding her pregnancy. Kandi Burruss’ mother returning to
deny explain calling her son-in-law Todd Tucker, “a lemon.” Other than those (weak) plot lines, this group is going toe to toe about…fashion.
Now, I must say that the RHOA cast is always showing their style, whether it is from the 90’s or present day. (I support your fashion choices, Shamari DeVoe!) But all these fights about labels and fashion sense are messy. And not in a fun way.
Andy Cohen spilled some major tea of his own to Watch What Happens Live viewers on December 20 when he revealed that he is expecting a baby via surrogate. And really, there was no better way to make the revelation than being surrounded by the OG Real Housewives. Teresa Giudice, Ramona Singer, Kyle Richards, NeNe Leakes, and Vicki Gunvalson were all in attendance. Let the squabbling begin over who will be the baby’s godmother!
“Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks’ time, I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future,” an emotional Andy said.
Real Housewife of Atlanta fans were once again treated to a
boring girls’ trip when the ladies escaped to Destin, Florida. Most of the drama on this trip revolved around fashion. Oh and the speculation that Porsha Williams had a bun in the oven.
Marlo Hampton took it upon herself to give newbie Shamari DeVoe an early morning makeover. Shamari initially resisted Marlo’s aggressive fashion advice, she finally gave in and allowed Marlo to dress her in a bizarre outfit capped off with a gigantic hat. Marlo certainly didn’t do Shamari any favors with this ensemble.
As another year approaches, it is time to reflect upon the past, and dream about the future. As a reality television
fanatic fan, my thoughts turn to which Housewives need to grace our television screens once again. Are you listening, Bravo?
Each Real Housewives franchise has seasons that are amazing and others that are
boring less exciting. Often, the key is having the right number of newbies and franchise favorites. But what really makes sparks fly is when a Housewife returns to a show, resuming prior relationships and interacting with newer castmates. Here is my dream team of who needs to be, and deserves to be, a Housewife again.
Once again, friendships are being shaken up on Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta! NeNe Leakes is ready to embrace an old enemy and re-awaken drama with someone who is like a little sister to her.
Who can forget Season 9 when Phaedra Parks she was behind the rumor that Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanted to drug and rape Porsha Williams. And that Porsha spread that rumor. This messy situation resulted in Phaedra’s firing, and the demise of her “Frick and Frack” friendship with Porsha.
Season 11 of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been inching along. Unfortunately, there just hasn’t been much noticeable drama to report. But this is Eva Marcille’s first season holding a peach. She is ready to earn her spot on the show. So far, we have been watching the lead-up to her wedding and drama with her mother about the festivities. (Kandi Burruss has been there, done that, and did it much better.)
So, Eva asked her “big sister” NeNe Leakes to speak at her wedding reception. Nevertheless, she did not invite NeNe to the bachelorette party. It seems like Eva is either overstating her close bond with Nene or didn’t invite her to stir up more drama for RHOA. At this point, Eva just seems desperate.
