Nicole Nafziger has been a long time staple in the 90 Day Fiance franchise. Ever since we were introduced to her and Moroccan fiancé, Azan Tefou, there was just something about them that kept our interest. Maybe it was the idea that the two seemingly had nothing in common. Or Nicole’s epic Moroccan meltdown when Azan didn’t think it was a good idea to hold hands in public.
Now, we can’t get enough because well, the whole thing seems like one big farce put on by Nicole. There have long been rumors that Azan is actually married to a cousin and has kids with her. Then Nicole flew all the way to Morocco during a pandemic to supposedly be with him. Too bad there was no photographic evidence of them ever spending time together during the 5 months that she was stranded there. So it’s safe to say that fans have been suspicious of the continuation of the relationship for awhile.
Most 90 Day Fiance couples are dysfunctional. Put two people together from different backgrounds and there are bound to be disagreements. One partner will come from a more progressive society and will struggle to adhere to orthodox cultures. They also have not experienced daily life together. Put all this conflict together and it still would not encompass the hot mess that is Yazan Abo Horira and Brittany Banks.
90 Day Fiance The Other Way Season 2 star Brittany waltzes onscreen with little sensitivity about Jordanian fiance Yazan’s culture. Each encounter with Yazan is a power struggle regarding who will compromise what. Brittany is expected to adhere to Islamic life, while Yazan is challenged to appease his family. One wonders why either partner would want to change their life so much for the other. But Brittany says that Yazan struggled more with the contrast in cultures than she did.
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way was full of new beginnings and the possible beginning of the end for some. This episode was packed full of drama. I needed a glass of wine after listening to everyone’s problems. Red flags are waving furiously in the wind. The only issue is everyone seems to just be walking right past them blindly.
Jihoon Lee dreads the return of Deavan Clegg‘s mom. Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio fight for their right to marry. Jenny Slatten worries Sumit is getting cold feet. Ariela Weinberg‘s parents question her choices. Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira finally reunite. Tim Clarkson gets advice on a big decision. Let’s get straight to 90 Day Fiance The Other Way the recap!
Darcey Silva. Where to begin? This reality starlet has peaked on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, not once, but twice. Talk about failing upwards. Darcey has not only escaped her two creepy exes, Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks, she even has her own show! The new show, aptly named Darcey and Stacey features Darcey and her twin sister, Stacey Silva, getting into all kinds of shenanigans.
Not only did Stacey marry her man during the new show’s filming, Darcey has also nailed down a new boo. This time in Bulgaria!
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way was equal parts endearing and just crazy. Well, most of the crazy came from Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira, which is probably no surprise to anyone. I still don’t understand if she is just clueless or is being intentionally disrespectful for television. Either way, it’s like watching a train wreck, you just can’t look away.
Brittany’s return to Jordan doesn’t go as planned. Jenny Slatten and Sumit try to move forward when disaster strikes. Tim‘s mom’s arrival stirs up tension. Biniyam Shibre’s long work hours make Ariela Weinberg suspicious. Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee face a tragedy and form a new bond. Let’s get straight to the 90 Day Fiance recap!
No stranger to chasing her passions, 90 Day Fiancé alumni Paola Mayfield has dabbled (and found some success in) the worlds of modelling, nutrition and personal training in the years since her stint on the inaugural season. Back in 2014, viewers watched the vivacious Colombian beauty and her husband Russ Mayfield incessantly battle over their careers, where to live and how much skin she could show in the process. Oh- and let’s not forget how Paola and her friends and family essentially called Russ a controlling, boring-ass prude for the entire duration of the season! Ah, memories.
Anywho! The couple has been married for the past seven years, are settled in Miami and welcomed an adorable son named Axel just last year. Besides recently appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, fans have been able to follow Paola‘s life on Instagram where she mostly posts photos of her family and her rock hard abs (…although I can’t say I blame her, really). But it was a photo of Paola’s latest side hustle that had fans both curious and excited about what could potentially be coming from her next.
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Larissa Dos Santos Lima getting the boot from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise following the release of an hour-long internet lingerie show and she’s suddenly in desperate need of some cash flow to maintain her plastic surgery upkeep, legal battles and whatever else she spends her money on.
A year and a half after finalizing her tumultuous divorce from ex-husband Colt Johnson and moving to Colorado with on-again eccentric boyfriend Eric Nichols, it seems like Larissa is proving once again that she’s not afraid to hustle hard to bring home the proverbial bacon in order to fulfill her American dreams.
It’s been almost a year and a half since we first laid eyes on the Season 1 cast of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way — one of the TLC producers’ more recent attempts to max out this cash cow of a reality series. In this spinoff, viewers followed Americans as they fell in love with foreigners and decided to give up their entire lives to move to their partner’s country instead of bringing them to the US to secure the coveted green card and chase the American dream.
Florida resident Laura Jallali fell deeply in love with much younger Tunisian hunk Aladin Jallali who was a personal trainer living in Qatar at the time. Throwing caution to the wind, Laura packed up her suitcases and left her Floridian home and adult son in the dust as she headed across the pond to live happily ever after in the world’s richest country to spend her golden years getting endless amounts of jiggy jiggy (also known as SEX) with with her husband to be. But, alas- in a tale as old as time we’ve come to recognize among couples within the 90 Day Fiancé series and its spin-offs- all that glitters is never gold, it seems.
